Theme: Summer Olympic Hosts
All five have hosted the Summer Olympics. Los Angeles has done it three times, Barcelona's 1992 Games famously remade the city, and Seoul's 1988 Olympics announced South Korea to the world. Athens hosted the very first modern Games in 1896 (and again in 2004), while Helsinki staged the 1952 Games.
