Theme: On the Nile
Every city today sits on the Nile. Cairo sprawls where the river fans into its delta, while Luxor and Aswan are the great temple towns of Upper Egypt upstream. Follow the river south past the border and you reach Khartoum, where the Blue and White Niles meet, and finally Juba, a river port on the White Nile in South Sudan.
