Theme: Great Volcanoes

Five volcanoes whose eruptions echo through history. Fuji's perfect cone is Japan's national symbol, while Vesuvius buried Pompeii in AD 79 and Etna still glows over Sicily as Europe's most active volcano. Krakatoa's 1883 blast was heard thousands of kilometers away, and in 2010 Iceland's unpronounceable Eyjafjallajökull grounded air traffic across Europe.
