Theme: Capitals That Aren't the Biggest City
Each is a national capital that yields the size crown to a bigger rival. Ottawa governs Canada while Toronto grows larger; Ankara is Turkey's capital though Istanbul dwarfs it; and Bern leads Switzerland even as Zurich booms. Abuja was built to govern Nigeria in place of sprawling Lagos, and Yamoussoukro is Côte d'Ivoire's official capital, far quieter than Abidjan.
