Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MapTapTime (the "Game"). By playing or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Game.
The Game
MapTapTime is a free daily geography game provided for personal entertainment. We offer it "as is" and may change, pause, or discontinue any part of it at any time.
Accounts and invites
- Some features (accounts and leaderboards) are invite-only. Keep your sign-in link and account private — anyone with your sign-in link can access your account.
- You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Provide accurate information and choose a display name that isn't offensive or impersonating someone else.
Fair play
To keep leaderboards meaningful, you agree not to:
- Cheat, script, automate, or use tools to look up answers or inflate scores.
- Tamper with, reverse-engineer, or manipulate the Game or its scoring.
- Disrupt the service or attempt to access data that isn't yours.
We may remove scores, reset leaderboards, or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Content and intellectual property
The Game, its design, and its puzzles are owned by the operator. Map data is provided by Mapbox and © OpenStreetMap contributors. You may share your own result cards freely.
Privacy
Your use of the Game is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Disclaimer and liability
The Game is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that puzzle content is perfectly accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the Game. As a free game, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us to use it (which is zero).
Termination
You can stop using the Game and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
